DANA KLEINERT ...

is fashion and textile designer from Slovakia. She studied at University of Art and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia and at UIAH in Helsinki, Finland. Among designing for individual clients, exhibiting in galleries, she was also the stylist for the first slovak „Pop-Idol“ contest. In 2005 she opened her first store in the heart of Bratislava, mentioned also in the New York Times, Elle etc... Now you can find her collection in Vienna and Prague,too.

Dana Kleinert belongs to „Gateway to Japan – Weareurope mission“ – fashion designers selected by European Union to represent unique fashion and textile design to japanese fashion professionals with aim to offer her designs to japanese customers. The next mission will be held in March 2010 in Tokio.

Her clients are e.g. theatres, artistic bodies and commercial companies. They know the influence of good design that underlines their ideas by corporate uniforms or products.
In summer 2009 Dana Kleinert started cooperation with Black and White Golf Resort Slovakia to offer her golf collection under the label „Kleinert Golf Collection“

In Vancouver, on Winter Olympic Games 2010, the whole slovak representation will be dressed in uniforms designed and realized by Dana Kleinert.
